Ghilzai, born on our farm in 2003, by Gargantua out of Khmara.

Gelishikly Line, 1.58. buckskin, but turn grey.

Once Ghilzai is trained under saddle he will be put up for sale but we will possibly use him to cover a few mares this season. He combines the correct build and easy character of his sire with the extraordinary light-footed movements of his dam and we have great hopes for him as a sport horse.

Abakan, born in 1998 in Russia Akhaltekinets van Tito Pomtecorvo. Sire Gigant, Dam Aerobika. Chestnut, 163m., Gelishikly line.

Kismet, 2006, chestnut, by Kaganat out of Khmara, Kaplan line. Kismet was born late in the season but is nevertheless a well-developed colt (1,65m); he moves with great ease and balance and he has the typical carriage and allure of the akhalteke breed. Kismet is the last offspring of his dam Khmara, who excelled in movements and character.

Kirgiz, 2009, silver buckskin, gelding. Sire: Karatai. Dam: Gulchetai, Gelishikly Line.

Kirgiz is a lovely, typical colt with an exceptional colour and springy, light-footed movements. Both parents are over 1.60 and we expect that he will become at least as tall.

Kizyl Gun: born 2 June 2010, gelding, chestnut, Kaplan line.

Sire: Kismet, Dam: Edigen

Kobus: born 23 March 2010, stallion, smokey.

Sire: Karatai Akhal Teke, Dam: Erna, Groninger.

Kobus' dam is an old-fashioned Groninger mare who is used both for riding and carriage driving. The Groninger is a Dutch breed originating from the heavier type of Oldenburger. These horses were used for farmwork and transport but also for riding as they are willing workers free of hystronics. At one time some Cleveland Bay blood was used but in later days a more sport-oriented horse was developped. The original type is still adhered to by a number of breeders.

Gobi Gush, 2009, bay. Sire: Ghilzai, Dam: Marishka, Gelishikly Line.
